This is us...
Welcome to Marmalades - Byron, Jane and Lachie Moore are the new custodians of this amazing business and the stunning and historic building originating in the late 1800's built by ES Purcell. We are honoured to be a part of the map of Yea - a town that wraps around its community.
We'd love to have you visit us - we are currently open 6 days (closed Wednesdays) and our operating hours are 9.00 am til 3.00 pm. Let us break this down for you...
Breakfast is served from 9.00 am til 11.30 am and then lunch is served from 12.00 pm til 2.30 pm. Any other times that we are open we are happy to welcome you for cake and coffee.
Bookings can be made by telephone - 035797 2716, email - or you can message us via Instagram and Facebook.
We're all about creating space for family and friends to catch up and connect. We change up our menu to suit the seasons, so in winter you'll find the fire lit and hearty meals, in summer the courtyard is in full swing with fresh salads on the menu.
We're big on food...
Byron Moore, owner and chef has over 30 years experience in boutique restaurants as well as large resorts. His style of food follows the season - it's one thing to say 'you serve fresh' it's another to know where your food comes from and this is the philosophy we prescribe to.
We love coffee... and you.
Too often in today's rushing world people are faceless customers, get in, get served, get out. Not at Marmalades.
Our 9 am 'coffee rush' is the same people, we know their faces, we know their orders. We must be doing something right!
We have customers that detour to visit us from as far away as Merimbula! Often we are the perfect middle point to meet for families who want to feel satisfied with their food, coffee and feel at home doing it.
Come and meet our family, and become part of it.
